Indigenous Relations Policy

The Mission District Historical Society aspires to collect, preserve and make accessible Mission’s heritage of which Indigenous peoples and their culture are an integral part.

Through its programs and services, the Society supports working collaboratively with the Stó:lō people, including Leq’á:mel, Semá:th, Kwantlen, Sq’éwlets, Máthexwi, and Katzie First Nations in the revitalization of Indigenous memory and knowledge.
